Evgeny Orlov over James Toney: Orlov emerged as the winner, 61 to 33. 37 of these came by the decision route, with 25 unanimous. 24 of his wins came by stoppage campared to 10 scored by Toney. Toney did score 16 unanimous decisions out of his 23.
Roy Jones over Courtney Fry: Jones walked away with 42 more fights than Fry taking this matchup 68 to 26. Jones victory total came on the basis of 49 decisions and 19 stoppages. Fry took 17 decisions. His total of 9 unanimous decisions was equal to the number of his stoppages. Jones had a 73 to 9 edge in knockdowns scored.
Oscar Godoy over Cecil Mccalla: Godoy squeaked out a win 48 to 44. Both fighters scored 31 decision wins and 10 KO victories. Gody's victory margin came by scoring four more TKO wins with 17. This was somewhat surprising because McCalla had rhe edge in knockdowns scored, 63 to 49.
Tony Luis over Wanzell Ellison: Veteran Tony "Lightning" Louis got the nod over Ellison 46 to 44. He had a 40 to 30 edge in decision victories. Ellison showed more pop, scoring 14 stoppages compared to 8 by Louis. He had a 58 to 17 edge in scored knockdowns.
Jerry Odom over Vilier Quinonez: This matchup was a dead heat. Each man copped 47 wins. Odom, however, got the nod, by dint of scoring 19 stoppage wins compared to 11. Despite scoring fewer knockdowns, Quinonez scored more knockdowns, leading in this category 74 to 60,
Michel Soro over Antoine Douglas: Soro walked away with this one 70 to 26. His wins came via 52 decisions and 18 stoppages. 38 of his decision wins were awarded unanimously. Douglas showed that he had a pincher's chance. 9 of his 26 wins came inside the distance. Soor had an 86 to 38 edge in knockdowns scored.
Caleb Truax over Derek Ennis: Truax won this match by a near two to one margin, 60 to 33. 33 of the 44 decions earned by Truax were unanimous. Truax scored twice as many stoppage wins with 16. He also had a 67 to 29 edge in knockdowns scored.
Roberto Garcia over Bredis Prescott: Garcia ran away with this one 73 to 24. He was dominant. Only 29 of his wins came via decision. He scored 44 stoppage wins. He nearly doubled Prescott's number of knockdowns, 88 to 48. Prescott also scored more stoppagewins than decisions 13 to 11.
Robert Stieglitz over Sergy Khomitsky: Stieglitz had an easy time with Khomitsky coming away with an 85 to 13 wins. Stieglitz dominated. 45 of his 53 decisions came by unanimous verdict. Stieglitz also notched 32 wins inside the distance. He floored Khomitsky 122 times and only visited the canvas 16 times himself. Khomitsky only managed to score 6 wins inside the distance.
Anne Sophie Mathis over Christina Hammer: Mathis won this one 73 to 19. These two gave the judges a lot of work. Only three fights did not go to the final bell. Hammer scored two of these. The judges awarded 72 bouts to Mathis and 17 to Hammer. Mathis won a unanimous verdict 57 times. She also morethan doubled the knockdowns scored, 57 to 26.
Oscar Valdez over Juan Ruiz Jr.: Valdez topped Ruiz 61 to 27. 45 of his wins came via decision. 38 of these were unanimous. Ruiz got the judge's verdict 20 times. 16 of Valdez's wins came inside the distance, including 4 DQs. Only one of these was a straight KO win although he had a 54 to 26 edge in scored knockdowns.
Bryant Jennings over Mike Perez: Jennings gor the nod over Perez 52 to 39. 27 of his 37 decision victories were unanimous. He stopped Perez 15 times scoring 61 kockdowns in the process. Perez stopped Jennings just as many times. He scored an additional inside the distance win on a DQ. 16 of Perez's 23 decision wins were unanimous.
Gennady Golovkin over Daniel Geale: Golovkin had an easy time earning with a 50 bout margin of victory, 71 to 21. 41 of his wins came via decision. 30 of his wins came insde the distance. He scored 89 knockdowns while visiting the canvas 37 time himself. Geale's win total was split between 11 decisions and 10 stoppages.
Tyson Fury over Alexander Ustinov: This matchup went Fury's way 59 to 31. 35 of his wins came inside the distance. 22 of his 26 decisions wins were unanimous. Ustinov, in turn, mustered 15 stoppages and 15 decision victories. Fury had a 76 to 58 edge in knockdowns scored in their encounters.
David carmona over Ricardo Rodriguez: Carmona has two fights since Billy C was unsure of the opponent. He topped Rodriguez 56 to 37. 30 of his 40 decision wins were unanimous. 16 wins did not go the distance. 33 of Rodriguez's 37 wins were awaeded by the judges. Frankie Gomez over Vernon Paris: The meeting between these two fighters resulted in another dead heat, 45 to 45. Goomez emerged on top by dint of 9 more inside the distance wins (21 to 12). Paris copped 33 decisions compared to 24 by Gomez, but only managed to score 12 stoppage wins. Gomez had a 58 to 24 edge in knockdowns that led him to 21 stoppages.
Jose Benavidez Jr over Henry Aurad: Benavidez came out on top in this meeting. 67 to 22. He had 30 wins by stopage including 22 KOs, a total equal to the number of Aurad's wins. Aurad, in contrast, scored teon wins inside the distance. Benavidez had a 103 to 27 edge in knockdowns scored.
